Picking a photographer for an engagement/wedding can be so stressful & challenging. So I ask myself this every time I look at our photos “HOW THE HECK DID WE GET SO LUCKY?!” Carley is the definition if phenomenal, if that word even gives her work justice. She met us for coffee when I reached out to her about potentially photographing our wedding. After our meeting, I immediately scratched out any other photographer meetings I had scheduled. She made us feel at ease, and was so easy to establish a trusting relationship with. She went above & beyond for both our engagement shoot (in Jasper, we lucked out she was shooting a wedding there already and told us that was an option, yay!) and for our wedding- she spent 10 hours ensuring all of our special moments were captured, and had a second photographer shooting alongside, that we really did not skip a beat. Finally, the best part- our pictures were edited beautifully and delivered in under 3 weeks!! We received them electronically- for our friends and family to have access to, and also received an adorable package from Carley with a USB with all of our images, and several prints of the pictures we took as a couple, as well as a sweet handwritten note. Honestly, I could go on and on about Chasing Dreams Photography. She’s so great, we are so lucky to have come across her!

I have been lucky enough to have photos taken by Carley and can't say enough about the experience. Its not always easy or comfortable to get pictures done but she puts you so at ease and has a wonderful way of making everyone feel great. Our session was actually so much fun and she has an amazing eye for the little moments and details that make images so special - we will cherish ours forever!

Carley is an absolutely beautiful human being inside and out! She blew our minds with the photos! She’s direct, knows what she wants, but makes you feel so comfortable while getting photos taken – I absolutely adore these traits in a photographer!

Carley is SO friendly, she made us comfortable in front of the camera so that we could be very natural. It was like we known her for years! Carley did an OUTSTANDING job with both our engagement & wedding photos. She greeted us from day 1 with a huge smile and hug and right away we all clicked, she is so easy to get along with and her wonderful sense of humor kept us laughing the whole way through. She has a way of making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and her pictures prove it! For our engagement photos she was willing to follow us around in a mosquito infested hay field and even loan me her sweater for some perfect shots. She was in touch the whole time leading up to our wedding and we struck up a wonderful friendship, seeing her the morning of my wedding calmed my nerves because I felt so good having someone we trusted handle such an important part of the day. Carley is hilarious and has such a big heart, she is so creative and she absolutely nailed our vision for our photos, our wedding day was cold and rainy and we were up in the mountains and she did not hesitate once to get that perfect shot, and she got tons of perfect shots!! She thought of things we never would have and took a lot of stress off of the day, she puts her passion and effort into every single photo. We cannot express how happy we are with Carley and her photos, she is truly truly talented and you will never regret having her at your wedding laughing and crying along with you! We truly felt like we had an extra friend there on our special day, she captured every emotion and every feeling, looking at the pictures brings you back in the most perfect way!!

Carley and her second shooter Thais were our wedding and engagement photographers for our August 18, 2018 wedding. Oh where to start with Carley and Chasing Dreams Photography... She is incredibly talented, communicative, loving, fun, and a person who you end up being friends with after your wedding day is done. She has an eye for stunning photographs and ensures that you are comfortable throughout the entire process. From the moment we had our phone consultation we knew there was no other option! Our photographs are all over our home and our precious moments could not have been captured better. Honestly, Carley made our engagement session comfortable, enjoyable and fun! We received some of the most amazing photos I could ever ask for. Even on a stormy, rainy, hailing evening, I never thought the photos I have now could exist! They turned out magical. Carley made us laugh all the time which made the photos that much more real. We want to start out with saying that Carley is an AMAZING photographer!
Off the bat, she was so easy to talk to and make conversation with that we instantly felt like we were BFFs.
And because of all this, having our pictures taken by her was such a relaxing and fun experience.
We never once felt uncomfortable or awkward in front of the camera.
She was super creative and made sure to incorporate a variety of interactive poses, and made sure we were happy with everything she had done.
The finished product completely blew us away! Her work is absolutely stunning!
